Introduction
SPARQsites, operated by Luminoloop, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.
By using SPARQsites, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not access or use our services.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as information generated through your use of the platform:
- Account information — your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Dealership information — business name, address, phone number, and website details you provide to build your dealer site.
- Vehicle inventory data — details about vehicles you list on your site, including make, model, year, pricing, images, and descriptions.
- Payment and billing information — subscription and payment data processed securely by our payment provider, PayPal. We do not store your full payment credentials on our servers.
- Facebook Page data — if you connect a Facebook Business Page, we store your Facebook Page ID, Page name, and a Page Access Token issued by Meta. This token authorizes SPARQsites to post content to your Page on your behalf. We do not collect your personal Facebook profile information beyond what is necessary to identify and access the Page you choose to connect.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and interactions with the platform to help us understand how our service is used.
- Cookies and similar technologies — small data files stored on your device to maintain sessions and authenticate your access.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the SPARQsites platform and your dealer website.
- Process subscription payments and manage your billing account.
- Send important notifications about your account, including trial expiration reminders, payment confirmations, and service updates.
- Improve, personalize, and expand the platform based on usage patterns and feedback.
- Post vehicle listings to your connected Facebook Business Page on your behalf, using the Page Access Token you authorize, when you enable the Facebook integration and choose to post a vehicle.
- Sync your vehicle inventory to marketplace partners such as CarGurus, AutoTrader, InventoryCC, and DealerCenter (Carzing) when marketplace feed integrations become available and you enable them.
- Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the service.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Payment processor — we share necessary billing information with PayPal to process your subscription payments.
- Meta (Facebook) — if you connect a Facebook Business Page, vehicle listing content (title, description, price, photos, and your site URL) is transmitted to the Facebook Graph API to be published as a post on your Page. This data is shared solely to fulfill the posting action you initiate. The Page Access Token we store is used only to authenticate requests to your Page and is never shared with any other party.
- Marketplace partners — when marketplace feed integrations become available and you enable them, your vehicle data will be shared with the marketplaces you configure (e.g., CarGurus, AutoTrader, InventoryCC, DealerCenter (Carzing)).
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — we use third-party services to host and deliver the platform, which may process your data on our behalf.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL connections.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to maintaining reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligations we may have to retain certain records.
- Withdraw consent for data processing where consent was the basis for collection.
- Export your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address provided at the bottom of this policy.
Cookies
We use essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the platform. These cookies are used for authentication, session management, and security purposes. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
By using SPARQsites, you consent to the use of these essential cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this may prevent you from using certain features of the platform.
Third-Party Services
SPARQsites integrates with the following third-party services:
- PayPal — for processing subscription payments and billing. PayPal's use of your information is governed by their own privacy policy.
- Meta (Facebook) — for the optional Facebook Page integration. If you connect a Facebook Page, your vehicle listing data is transmitted to the Facebook Graph API. Meta's use of data received through their API is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.
- Marketplace partners (coming soon) — including CarGurus, AutoTrader, InventoryCC, and DealerCenter (Carzing) for distributing your vehicle inventory once this feature is available. Each marketplace has its own privacy policy governing data received through feeds.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party services to understand how they handle your information.
Facebook Integration
SPARQsites offers an optional Facebook Page integration that allows you to post vehicle listings directly to your Facebook Business Page. This feature uses Facebook Login and the Facebook Graph API, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.
When you connect a Facebook Page, you authorize SPARQsites to request the following permissions on your behalf:
- pages_manage_posts — to create posts on your connected Facebook Page.
- pages_read_engagement — to verify that your Page is accessible and retrieve its basic metadata.
- pages_show_list — to allow you to select which of your Pages to connect to SPARQsites.
We store only the Page ID, Page name, and Page Access Token required to post on your behalf. We do not store your personal Facebook user ID or any other personal Facebook profile data. The Page Access Token is encrypted in our database and is used solely to publish vehicle listings you authorize.
Revoking access: You can disconnect your Facebook Page at any time by going to Settings → Integrations → Disconnect Facebook Page in your SPARQsites dashboard. Upon disconnection, all stored Facebook tokens are permanently deleted from our systems. You can also revoke SPARQsites' access directly through your Facebook account settings at facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites.
Your use of the Facebook integration is also subject to Meta's Privacy Policy and Meta Platform Terms.
Children's Privacy
SPARQsites is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website prior to the changes taking effect.
We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
